Lord Wade of Chorlton - Chairman
Oulton Wade joined the board as Chairman in 2003. He is Chairman of NIMTECH, holds numerous directorships and presides over several committees on Energy, Science and Technology Committee and the North West Development Association. He is Chairman of the Combined Heat and Power Association and the Energy from Waste Association.
Dr John Watt - Executive Deputy Chairman
John Watt is a co-founder of RockTron and has broad experience of public service, having served as Managing Director of the Northern Ireland Finance Corporation, and in private enterprise working with PA Management Consultants and IBM before founding several businesses including RockTron.
Philip Michael - Director
Philip Michael is a co-founder of RockTron and has worked in the international mining and mineral processing industries for the last thirty years. He designed and successfully commissioned the largest mineral processing plant in the world and has developed much of the technology now used by RockTron.
Ric Carby qualified as a chartered accountant with Ernst and Young after gaining a first class honours degree in Civil Engineering at Loughborough University. Ric worked extensively with successful growing SME businesses in both finance director and general management roles, before joining RockTron in January 2008.
Ron McGregor - Director of Engineering
Ron McGregor (CEng., PrEng., FSAIMM, MIMMM) has worked in the metallurgical and mineral processing industry for more than 25 years. His experience encompasses both managerial and technical support to major mineral processing operations. He has extensive Capital Projects involvement with both brownfield and greenfield projects from both the clients perspective and as a third party consultant.
Derek Walter - Non Executive Director
Derek Walter joined the RockTron Board in October 2010. Having qualified as a chartered accountant with a Big 4 firm in the City of London, Derek spent the rest of his executive career in multinational and global groups and has sat on the boards of several companies listed on the London Stock Exchange and NASDAQ.
Philip Morgan is a solicitor with more than 35 years’ experience in both the public and private sectors. He joined RockTron in 2003 as General Counsel, and has been Company Secretary since 2007. Before joining RockTron he had advised the company and its founding shareholders since 1990.
