Ric Carby qualified as a chartered accountant with Ernst and Young after gaining a first class honours degree in Civil Engineering at Loughborough University. Ric worked extensively with successful growing SME businesses in both finance director and general management roles, before joining RockTron in January 2008.
Ron McGregor – Director
Ron McGregor (CEng., PrEng., FSAIMM, MIMMM) has worked in the metallurgical and mineral processing industry for more than 25 years. His experience encompasses both managerial and technical support to major mineral processing operations. He has extensive Capital Projects involvement with both brownfield and greenfield projects from both the client’s perspective and as a third party consultant.
Peter Crofts – Head of Sales and Marketing
Peter Crofts FCIM DipM has thirty years experience in sales and marketing, working internationally and in the UK with major multinationals, start-up businesses and institutions. He started working with RockTron in 2002. Peter heads up RockTron’s worldwide marketing.
TECHNICAL SUPPORT TEAM
John Bance - Director of Operations
John Bance, BSc (Hons) Metallurgy and MBA, had a successful career with Anglo American Corporation before developing his contracting and management career in both South Africa and the UK, operating in various process industries. He started working with RockTron in 2002. John heads up our manufacturing operations worldwide.
Nigel Smalley - Technical Manager
Nigel Smalley has over twenty years experience in mineral processing and extractive metallurgy. He holds qualifications from Camborne School of Mines (DipCSM) and Leeds University (BEng Mineral Engineering), and worked for Rio Tinto Research & Technology before joining Philip Michael to work with RockTron in 2002. Nigel heads up our R&D operations.
CUSTOMER SERVICES TEAM
Francesca Hallet - Customer Services Executive
Francesca has worked for RockTron since 2008 as Customer Services Executive, developing and improving systems and procedures for prospects, customers and suppliers. She has considerable experience within international customer services, contact management, sales processing and distribution.
Nikki Howell - Office Manager
Nikki Howell (Assoc CIPD) joined RockTron in August 2008 as an administrator before becoming office manager. Taking on the HR responsibilities in 2009, she has now gained her Certificate in Personnel Practice and is also managing the HR function. She also provides confidential support to the Directors and general office management duties.
