Concrete made using RockTron products has a visibly better finish than that made with CEM I. It is denser with a lower permeability to water, making it more resilient and durable.

Consistent Quality

The RockTron process negates the concerns historically associated with fly ash. Consistency of quality, colour and even particle size are specified, ensuring consistent product performance. RockTron Alpha conforms to Alpha BS EN 450.

Economic:

RockTron products offer a credible lower cost alternative to conventional CEM I, making RockTron a commercial substitution proposition. Its low LoI means that far higher substitution levels can be considered than was previously thought possible. These two factors combined mean that use of RockTron products can significantly reduce costs while improving sustainability.

Environmental – “RockTron Recycles”

All construction must now have a BREEAM rating. RockTron’s production is in effect the 100% reprocessing of waste fly ash from coal-fired power stations stored in landfill sites. Therefore, any construction that uses RockTron based products can benefit significantly from the genuine environmental credentials that RockTron can offer.
