The RockTron process represents a steap change in the beneficiation of fly ash (PFA) and the portfolio of resulting cementitious products deliver significant technical advantages not previously available.

For cementitious applications including cement manufacture and concrete production there has been a growing issue with UK fly ash quality and specifically with high levels of carbon (LOI) present in the ash.

The proprietary RockTron process:

Typically removes 90% of the carbon producing a range of cementitious products that meet and exceed the minimum requirements of EN450 Category A: LOI typically 5%.
Produces high volumes of product meeting particle fineness EN450 Category S - ≤12% retained on the 45μm sieve
