Construction of RockTron's first full scale fly ash processing plant at

Fiddler's Ferry is on schedule to complete in 2009

Press release 17/02/2009

Construction of RockTron’s first 800,000 tonne fly ash mineral processing plant at Fiddler’s Ferry is on schedule for completion in 2009. The technology employed in this new plant builds on the earlier, 70t/hr commercial carbon from ash flotation plant designed and constructed for RAG in Germany, which operated successfully for 8 years.

The RockTron PFA Beneficiation Process utilises both fresh fly ash and the much larger waste stocks of fly ash in long-term landfill storage sites and lagoons. The Fiddler’s Ferry plant is designed to run 24/7 throughout the year providing consistent, manufactured minerals and materials to a wide variety of industries from construction to aerospace.
