Objectives:
Our objectives in the fulfilment of this policy are to:
• Achieve safe workplaces with zero lost time injuries and negligible reportable incidents.
• Eliminate all conditions and work practices that could lead to illness or personal injury.

Strategies:
To achieve these objectives, we will:
• Identify, assess and control risk and review performance of control measures.
• Design our workplaces to minimise risk to personnel.
• Develop work practices and strategies that further reduce risk to as low as reasonably practicable.
• Ensure the ongoing competence of personnel in working safely through training in occupational health and safety matters.
• Ensure that contractors understand and follow our safety standards.
• Continuously improve health and safety performance with the involvement of all employees and contractors.
• Comply with all applicable health and safety laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:
The Chief Executive Officer of RockTron is accountable for ensuring that the policy is implemented and that its effectiveness is reviewed as required.
Line Managers will:
• Establish goals for health and safety programmes.
• Allocate resources to achieve these goals.
• Ensure that risk identification and assessments are conducted and risk controls implemented.
• Ensure safety plans and performance targets are established for their staff.
All personnel including contractors are responsible for complying with the objectives of this policy and following all safety rules, instructions and for working safely at all times.
